PAUA (Preschoolers At-Home Uniquely Achieving) Early Childhood Home Based Care Service started in Whanganui in 2003 and has now grown to provide care in many regions of New Zealand.

We are a family owned, private service based on Christian philosophy and values. We are committed to providing the best care and education for your child.

All home based early childhood services need to adhere to the same regulations and legislation. However the ‘flavour’ of each service can be different. Our passion is quality and support for all children, and their unique place in their family/whānau.

We aim to provide quality care that is supportive of your whānau needs, flexible and local (even in rural or remote locations).

• We strive to involve and support whānau wherever possible.
• Each child’s learning is documented through their individual photographic learning stories. These are not only put in a child’s profile folder but are also available on Educa for parents, and your wider whānau, to enjoy and comment on.
• We provide quality educational resources which are chosen according to children’s interests and development level. These are changed frequently.
• We also provide great support/training for our Educators and monthly reports following their own learning journey.
