Children can learn about different types of fruit, colours, and the concept of halves as they assemble this fruit puzzle and enjoy imaginary play, 'slicing' the chunky pieces. 

The Cutting Fruit Puzzle from Classic World features realistic images and is innovatively designed with touch fasteners that hold the pieces together but also enable them to be easily sliced by the wooden knife.

The fruit shapes included are apple, lemon, pear, orange, kiwifruit, strawberry, pineapple, peach and watermelon.

The chunky puzzle pieces feature the fruit sliced open, while the inset picture on the puzzle board shows how it looks when whole.

Learning outcomes: Helps children learn to name and identify the fruit, as they remove and match them back to the images on the board; puzzles help build hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, while also encouraging problem-solving and discovery.
