The Little Blue Penguin Soft Toy with Sound is an adorable plush version of the world’s smallest penguin, the little blue penguin or korora.

When squeezed, this cute little soft toy lets out authentic sounds. Although their conservation status is At Risk – Declining, little blue penguins are reasonably common in Wellington Harbour. The birds caused quite a stir when they had to be removed by police from a Wellington sushi stand in July!

This children’s toy includes all of the native bird’s features like its pink legs, black claws and paddle-like flippers. It makes a lovely gift for little ones.
