This kiwi classic is now a ‘Kuwi classic’.
The enamel range is strong, beautiful and created with the environment in mind.
Each piece is hand dipped, with the artwork applied by hand, so there will be slight variations and imperfections that add to the vintage feel.*

Classic kiwi enamelware, with a child friendly divided plate design. 
With 3 divided sections,  this plate is great for keeping foods separate for fussy eaters and creating healthy snack platters.

FOOD SAFETY TESTED & CERTIFIED - CHEMICALLY SAFE
The enamelware is food-safe and is rigorously tested to meet FDA Food Safety regulations for lead and cadmium.

MATERIAL: Enamel fused onto heavy-gauge steel
PLATE DIMENSIONS: 250 mm H x 220 mm W x 30 mm D

* Each item is hand dipped in a thick enamel glaze and then fired in the kiln in extremely high temperatures. This can be repeated numerous times, depending on the product. During this process, the coloured pigment in the glaze reacts during the firing process, giving each piece its own varying character and finish, with no two pieces exactly the same.

This enamelware is shatterproof, although if dropped the outer porcelain layer can chip. If this happens, the steel below naturally oxidises & the enamelware remains safe to use. We think this just adds to the vintage charm of this kiwi classic!
