Visiting Teacher - Christchurch | Diploma in Teaching and Learning (ECE)
My name is Tracy, Visiting Teacher with 22 years teaching experience in a variety of Early Childhood contexts. My journey working in Early Childhood began back in 1990 when I moved from Ashburton where I grew up to Christchurch with my family. I graduated in 1994 with a Diploma of Teaching ECE, got married a week later and moved to Dunedin to start both my married life and teaching career. In 1999 I had my first child Joel and then June 2002 my second child Izaac was born. Now I am the mother of two teenage boys and life is full of what every mother of boy’s dreams of.
I am an experienced Early Childhood Music Educator and have been facilitating and delivering Musical Play experiences to infants, toddlers and young children for 15 years. This has been on a part time and voluntary basis. I currently still facilitate five Musical Play sessions for the church I go to here in Christchurch. One of these sessions is based in a rest home where the children and the residents join in the session together. I look forward to opportunities in the future to share this passion and skill with PAUA Educators in the Christchurch area.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, picnics, coffee, music, photography, and spending time with family and friends.Back to Our Team
