Sharon Radford

Visiting Teacher - South Taranaki | Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (ECE)

Kia ora, my name is Sharon Radford and I’m a Visiting Teacher for North and South Taranaki. I have lived in Taranaki all my life and currently live on a lifestyle block in a small rural community.  I’m married to Gary and have three wonderful children. My daughter Nicholle lives in Tauranga, my son Kyle lives in Bell Block and I have a seven year old son, named Corbin. I also have a gorgeous grandson, Landon, who turned three in June.

I have completed my Bachelor in Teaching and Learning (Early Childhood) recently. I worked in early childhood centres for over 10 years and have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside children and building relationships with whānau/families. My experience in early childhood has been a rewarding career and I enjoy working with PAUA and sharing my skills and knowledge I have learnt over the years with the Educators, whānau and tamariki. I believe in strong relationships with families/whānau and working together to make their child’s early childhood education journey a positive experience.
