Liz Lam Sam
Visiting Teacher - South Auckland | Diploma of Teaching (ECE)
Greetings, kia ora and talofa lava.
I graduated from Epsom Teachers’ College in 1976 and worked in Early Childhood Centres in Mangere, Otara and Manurewa until 2013, when I joined PAUA as a Visiting Teacher.
I am of Ngati Ruanui descent and also have ties to the Samoan community through my husband Peter.
I am passionate about children growing up to be strong, healthy adults in a rich multi-cultural community.
I have lived in South Auckland since 1981 and I love the fact that I work here as well.
Peter and I have two adult children, Chris, who is married to Kate, and Sarah. We also have three grandsons.
I believe that God created us all in a unique and special way, and I love helping people to recognise their individual skills and supporting them as they explore their potential.
